More information about Wind Ensemble trip to USC...
As was sent home at the start of the school year, and again last week, here is the information about the upcoming Wind Ensemble performance at the University of South Carolina. The trip fee is due by Friday, January 17th.
Information about the Wind Ensemble Performance at the 2014 University of South Carolina Band Clinic in Columbia, South Carolina
As was announced at the start of the school year, the MHS Wind Ensemble was selected to give a featured performance at this year’s University of South Carolina Band Clinic in February. The students have been working hard to prepare the program this semester and the experience of participating in this trip should create a lasting educational experience. This was a requirement for participation in this year’s group. The cost of the trip is $110.00 per student, which covers the cost of the hotel stay, transportation, and the Friday evening meal. Students will stay 4 to a room. As breakfast is provided at the hotel, students only need to bring additional money for two fast food lunches. All students are required to ride the bus to and from Columbia, and in the event alternative transportation is approved, the full trip amount will still be due so that the cost of the bus is covered. The trip payment is due by Friday, January 17th to the band room lockbox. Please contact Mr. Shumick if you need to make alternative payment arrangements.
