Congratulations to the marching band for an outstanding performance at the BOA Super Regional at the Georgia Dome. The band was in competition with 43 other bands from across the country and what was the toughest slate of competing bands for the entire BOA schedule.

The band earned a "Division 1" rating, which we have never done at a BOA competition. This was our goal...to perform our best and earn the Division 1 rating. Fewer than half of the bands earned a Division 1 rating. The band's score of 75.3 was 18th overall out of the 43 competing bands. This was a fantastic day for the Milton Band.

Thanks to our chaperones and our outstanding prop and equipment crew for making the day work for us and thanks to the parents and supporters who were great in the Dome on Saturday. Your support means a great deal to us all. I hope everyone will turn out for our final competition of the year this coming Saturday at Newnan High School.
